“Krista helped me throughout my birth by keeping track that my birth plan was given to the staff and being adhered too and helping my husband with what to do next. The main, wonderful thing that she did was stay with me the whole time while I had had a C-section. She kept me informed of what was happening and while my husband was with our child after birth, she stayed with me. I didn’t realize this beforehand, but I definitely needed someone with me right after birth to not feel alone and vulnerable on the operating table.

Krista helped me with breastfeeding by providing breastfeeding education before birth. My intentions before that was to do exclusive pumping, but after learning more about breastfeeding through Krista, I decided to go through a breast-feeding journey, which I’m still continuing.

It never occurred to me to have photos taken during the birthing process. Even as part of Krista‘s package, it wasn’t necessarily a selling point for me. However, the picture she took will be ones that I will always cherish. I had a C-section, and my favorite moment was after the surgery, when I finally got to hold my child in my arms. I just held her so tight, smelling her little head and the rest of the world melted away. Krista was able to capture that picture. I couldn’t be more grateful.
